UOP LLC, a Honeywell company, has announced that Russia's Mendeleev Group will use UOP process technologies to produce high yields of transportation fuels to meet growing demand and stricter environmental regulations. UOP's state of the art technologies will enable Mendeleev Group to fully convert crude oil while maximising production of high quality, ultra low sulfur diesel fuel.
For 2014, the refinery produced 354 thousand tons of oil products. In comparison with 2013 year the output increased by 23.2%. Volume growth was achieved both by increasing the amount of recycled raw materials, and by reducing production losses more than doubled due to modernization the atmospheric distillation of crude oil.

In the framework of a cooperation between the holding "Mendeleev Group" and Yaroslavl Polytechnic University a lecture on the topic "Health and safety in real life" was held for students of the Department "Occupational health and nature".The lector was the Refinery's specialist for health and safety, Borislav Black.Valery Zheglov, General Director of the Yaroslavl Mendeleev Refinery (included in the holding" Mendeleev Group ") also presented the Company and the Refinery for the students.
